Time for the June edition of Coronadiaries!
(Unless we think it’s not as necessary now? Idk)
But where will we complain about the second and/or personal lockdown based on prematurely lifting restrictions?
Guys didn’t you hear? The corona is OVER! In person graduations all week! BLESSSSS
We’re still under “safer at home” orders for two more weeks!
Lol Florida DGAF. Most things have reopened here. We are still doing everything the same except we’ve agreed to an occasional beer outside at a brewery on days they’re not busy and we can be distant from other people. But most people around here stopped wearing masks and everything. I’m worried about wave 2, it’s definitely coming.
We go "green" on Friday in our county. I have to look up what it means. Green isnt like "Ok 'rona over do what you want", its just the last phase before total reopening. Othercou ties near Philly are still red, and others arestaying yellow.
People are out and about everywhere but mostly still wearing masks and mostly social distancing ok. Im still trying to be safe but like... we're all getting back to work and obviously we have to go back and Im worried about what will happen in the future.
Not anymore, apparently!
Lol I was like 10 minutes early on that one.
I’m terrified what’s going to happen now. I’m currently loving the curbside life.
We're supposed to begin phase 1 on monday the 8th, but it seems all pandemic talk is on pause on account of protests. I guess we'll see what happens.
My office is starting a "partial reopening" today, which really changes nothing for me since they've been pretty inconsistent about enforcing being "closed" in the first place. Regardless, I need a break and do NOT want to be here when everyone interprets "partial reopening" as "totes back in business" and starts flooding in. So I'm taking a staycation starting Friday.
We are under safer at home until July 1 and I don't go back into an office until August
C found me Cool Ranch Doritos when picking up my prescription today!!!
Thats so long!! Ours is supposed to be lifted the 8th, but I'm hoping it doesnt get pushed back if our numbers go up from the protesting.
We are allowed to have guests into our backyards now and my friend is going to come later in the week for a socially distanced patio visit!!
NSFW or kids...
My aunt and my dad are driving to my cousin’s wedding next week in Colorado (they’re in LA). This is my immunocompromised aunt. They’re both in their early seventies. I told them straight up it was a terrible idea, and they had the liver to be touchy about it. My aunt also lectured me about how careful she is and how she lives with her condition and knows what to do. Yeah, that’s great, BUT the people at this wedding won’t all be equally cautious, plus coronavirus has kind of thrown a wrench into what you’d normally do. My dad’s health isn’t great either (I suspect something’s wrong but he won’t listen to that), and I know he’s mostly going because she’s going.
We are having an al fresco dinner in a parking space and a lady rolled by on a motorized scooter blasting “I Will Survive” on a boom box and if this is the new normal for the time being I am HERE for it!!
My cousin in law just got home after 52 days in the hospital and rehab (ventilator, coma, secondary infection). I am amazed.
The woman has nine lives. She survived a horrific car crash and TBI many years ago.
After saying at J’s work they were going to test everyone, then changing to only potential exposures, they’re back to everyone. J got tested yesterday and should get results soon. Now I’m trying to symptom spot both of us. Is this cough and dry throat coronies or because the fan was blasting me in the face all night?
My mom got this subscription to an e-card website for work birthdays and has been sending me daily cards. But the cards themselves are all normal ones like Congratulations! Today she sent me a card that said "Congratulations on doing yard work!" I've not been the most impressive kid
