I started Unbelievable tonight and ugh
Derry Girls is hilarious
P only saw the title and thought Derry Girls was going to be about the town from IT.
I love it. I do need subtitles lol.
I turned on the first episode of Good Omens last night while A was on the couch playing a video game. He's shown zero interest in the show so I got tired of waiting and just started. 1 minute in the game is paused and he's throughly hooked. I knew he'd like it, but now I have to wait for him to watch.
Since I had to wait for Good Omens, I finished Carnival Row tonight. I liked it pretty well, although it didn't grip me as much as I was expecting. I did stay up rather later than I should to finish tonight, so it had enough juice to get to the finish.
Just finished Dark Crystal last night. I really liked it.
We are watching the original Charmed and its A first watch of the series. Unfortunately Netflix’s main pic for the show has Paige on it and he noticed. “Which one of the sisters goes missing? Isn’t that a different woman on the picture?” Now whenever any of the sisters is in peril he asks “Is THIS why they get a new sister” Ugh, only one more season until Prue dies haha
Uh so I finally set up Roku and finally signed on to my brother's shared Netflix. This is my semi flounce post because holy crap I have so much to watch.
Get in where ya fit in. In a week you’ll be like, “Ugh how boring there’s nothing on here.”
You underestimate my ability to rewatch my stories a billion times. Or until I hate everyone in them like with Gilmore.
I'm behind, but I've been watching Working moms on netflix. I enjoyed the first season, 2nd was ok. But I'm on the 3rd season and I gotta say, I'm getting real tired of all these people making such horrible, horrible life choices. I know it's fake TV, but it went from relatable to "OMFG you're insane." Over and over.
Not to bump an old conversation or anything, but I relate to this so hard except for mine was Rescue Me. I was really into it to start but as time went on it became clear that whenever a character (any character) was faced with a fork in the road, they were going to choose the dark twisted-tree path over the sunny meadow path every single time. I had to eventually give up, because seriously how is it possible for someone to do the wrong thing in literally every situation?! Even by chance they should have accidentally done something right at least once, but it never happened.
The bad decisions issue is why I stopped watching Shameless.
You must be talking about The Walking Dead.
We loved Rescue Me and hard same, @Vespidae . Every episode eventually as like WHY NO REALLY WHY WOULD ANYONE DO THAT UGH. It was like how do we destroy any feels you ever had for any of the characters hmmm.
We stopped watching Walking Dead shortly after the big cliffhanger death season because it was just awful. Lately I’ve been wanting to go back and catch up but idk. No spoilers if you can, but worth it?
I went farther than you but am not current so can't quite say, @scotchbutter.
yes. It also went from amazing to dumb af.
I still miss Jimmy Steve.
How have none of you told me about Difficult People?
If you like it, read I Don't Care About Your Band, Julie Klausner's memoir.
I have and I really liked it.
Anybody else watch Modern Love on Prime? Just watched the first episode and really enjoyed it.
