I know I bug sweatermuffins about her menu, weekly, so I figured that those of us who compose meal plans can share them, here. It's always nice to come across new recipes and food blogs to get inspired. Include links, if applicable!

This week, we're just kind of using random odds and ends we still have leftover from the previous week, and Superbowl Sunday. Nothing especially noteworthy, but it'll do.

    Monday: Leftovers/FFY (fend for yourself)
Tuesday: Bean, cheese, & rice burritos with a corn and cherry tomato side salad (no recipe)
Wednesday: Pear, prosciutto, and brie panini with fig butter and a spinach salad (no recipe)
Thursday: Root beer pulled pork over baked potatoes (http://www.justgetoffyourbuttandbake.co ... lled-pork/)
Friday: Blueberry lemon pancakes with marinated tempeh bacon (http://thepioneerwoman.com/cooking/2011 ... -pancakes/)

Lemme know how those waffles turn out. I'm bummed we never got around to 'em.

Sriracha meatballs: A staple. A must.

I forget what days we are doing what but here goes

Chobani Perfect Pancakes (although we use Fage) - will use plain yogurt and add my own vanilla extract, add cinnamon and put blueberries in the pancake batter. http://www.chobani.com/culture/recipes/ ... -pancakes/
Chicken Teriyaki stir fry with broccoli, pineapple and red pepper over brown jasmine rice. I just wing it and make my own sauce from soy sauce, honey, ginger, garlic, rice vinegar, a little pineapple juice and thicken it up a bit with some corn starch/water slurry.
Stuffed shells - I mix up shredded roasted chicken, diced tomatoes, grated parmesan and small chopped cubes of fresh mozerella with italian spices, stuff it in the pasta shells, top with tomato basil sauce and shredded mozerella cheese and bake. Will probably do a simple side salad with homemade balsamic dressing - spring mix, shredded carrot, broccoli slaw. Usually makes enough for 2 days worth.
    Friday is eat out.

Kthom - I love Fage! I'm notoriously cheap and buy a ton of generic, but I only buy Fage for Greek yogurt. <3

I haven't had stuffed shells in a long time. That might be added on next week's menu.

    Another fan of Fage, here.

I'm a Chobani fan, but for some reason our Albertsons only stocks the flavors. I have to buy Fage because it's the ONLY brand of plain Greek yogurt they sell.

I don't know why I've never loved Chobani much. Fage tastes better, to me. My favorite yogurt, Greek or otherwise, is Wallaby Organics.

Jayzus. The perpetual state of chaos my life is in, the idea of having a meal plan or even one meal planned in advance is outright laughable.

But thank you for all the good ideas. Now I'm fucking hungry.

I plan my meals 3 months at a time since that's roughly the amount of time it takes for things to cycle back around on sale. We aren't paleo or anything though, and can't eat fish/seafood (me) or eggs (rooster).

Because of my wacky commute, I only cook three meals a week and just make massive amounts. We have these things for lunch and supper, but have things like Greek yogurt with honey and a banana or some oatmeal or whatever for breakfast.

    This week:

Macaroni with broccoli and ham mixed in (ham is frozen leftovers from Christmas)
    Chili
Pasta with artichoke hearts and marinara sauce with green salad on the side

I don't like chobani at all, Patrick does but he likes fage too so that's what we buy. I love the full fat fage but it's impossible to find around here.

I will only eat the 2% fage. At the grocery store once when they were out, I had to excuse myself to the car to cry. Oh, hormones.

    The 2% is heavenly.

I loooooooove the raspberry fage. But I'm a cheapo and it is 30 cents more expensive than Chobani when neither are on sale. and 40 cents more expensive than the stuff I get at Trader Joe's.

Oh I hearts the Fage. It was my first Greek yogurt. I'm trying to get us to eat more yogurt, and right now we're just getting different stuff on sale as taste testing.

RAAAAAA Gimme the FAT. haha. The 2% is pretty rich too though and that is what we end up getting. I like it with a little honey and some berries on it.

That was always my plan when our closest grocery store was Whole Foods - I'd just buy whatever yogurt was on sale. Allowed me to try a lot of different brands.

I might try to do that cream cheese chicken chili without the ranch dressing packet.

Just a tip - it's pretty creamy with the entire block of cream cheese, so I have started using half of a block instead. It still is creamy, but not so heavy.

Heart disease and diabetes are the two main ingredients.

I kid, I kid. It's a can of cream of chicken soup plus a dollop of sour cream mixed in with shredded chicken. The top is made of crumbled ritz crackers. Bake and then die of happiness.
